About the role

Head of Sales is appointed to oversee the team assigned to the portfolio of accounts under his management. Head of Sales duties would include sales, planning and managing the full relationship between Trukker and the clients in his underlying portfolio

The key roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Select, hire, train & manage Sales and business development team to ensure a team of the strongest talents are being attracted, motivated and well maintained
  • Develop and plan the go to market strategy.
  • Planning and executing the company's revenue milestones.
  • Function as the key account management for top clients and ensure client satisfaction is reached.
  • Collaborate with multiple functions (Operations, Technology, and supporting functions) to translate the company's vision into commercial strategies.
  • Work on the development of the necessary training materials
  • Set Sales targets and objectives strategies
  • Work on developing and setting the description of tasks and main duties of each title under his management
  • Identify sales opportunities and direct the Accounts management team accordingly
  • Strictly ensure the team’s weekly/monthly targets are being met by giving them necessary support needed in terms of expanding business volumes, and conducting phone calls and business visits
  • Ensure optimum acquisition of bigger shares of business volumes out of existing accounts
  • Closely monitor individual accounts’ performances to detect any lost business and take immediate corrective actions
  • Ensure optimum system & dashboard utilization
  • Support the Account management team by attending higher level meetings to assist in closing deals
  • Resolve disputes
  • Review & approve proposed prices submitted to clients
  • Conduct periodic evaluation to the Sales team
  • Provide periodic reporting to top management

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree is a must
  • Proven experience in accounting & Financial
  • +5 year in similar position in the field of (Logistics – Trucking)
  • Advanced Computer Skills (MS Office)
  • Well organized & can Perform multi tasks
  • Exceptional time management, verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Good Command of English
  • Professional manner, presentable, punctual and strong ethical code
  • Professional in decision-making & problem solving.
